Knowing I wasn't harming the ocean environment was why I bought this product. It went on smoothly and was dry (not oily as I anticipated). Used it the week I was in St Maarten and came back as pale as I left! So it works! I was worried the small tube wouldn't last but as they say you don't need much and I covered my whole body the entire week and still have at least half the tube left.

I love this sunscreen for many reasons - the first being that I don't have to worry about what I'm putting on my skin getting into my body and causing harm, but also that this sunscreen is safe for aquatic organisms in both fresh and marine systems. The consistency of the sunscreen is thicker than most sunscreens, so you have to apply it in small sections. I don't get the feeling of oiliness from this sunscreen like other brands either. I love that I can apply this to my face and it doesn't make my mask slide around, and when I sweat the sunscreen doesn't burn my eyes. The titanium dioxide does cause there to be a shiny/metallic appearance to your skin, but once rubbed in all the way, you can barely tell. I love the mission this company is pursuing and I am a life-time buyer!
